BLUECARE
Our BlueCare Plan
BlueCare is our TennCare plan for many lower income pregnant women, parents or caretakers of minor children, children, seniors and Tennesseans with disabilities. BlueCare benefits include routine dental services for members of all ages, prescription coverage, and medical and behavioral health care. Depending on their age and benefit level, your patients may also have vision benefits. Review our Provider Administration Manual or BlueCare Member Handbook to learn more.
COVERKIDS
Our CoverKids Plan
CoverKids provides comprehensive services for eligible pregnant patients and children through age 18. Your patients with CoverKids have similar benefits to those covered by BlueCare Tennessee, but with some key differences. For complete details, please review the CoverKids section of the Provider Administration Manual. Items in the manual that don't apply to CoverKids are marked “This section does not apply to CoverKids.”

Benefits
Benefits for CoverKids members fall into two basic categories:
- Children ages 18 and younger
- Pregnant patients ages 19 and older
Covered services include preventive health care, provider and hospital visits, developmental screenings, pregnancy support, mental health treatment, and prescription coverage. Children and teens ages 18 and younger also have dental and vision benefits.

Copays
Your patients enrolled in CoverKids have no copays for preventive care, like well-child exams, annual wellness visits and immunizations. TENNCARESELECT
Our TennCareSelect Plan
TennCareSelect is our TennCare plan for specialty populations, including children in state custody, individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and children under 21 who get Supplemental Security Income. You can read more about these benefits in our TennCareSelect Member Handbook or Provider Administration Manual.
We're honored to be Tennessee's only health plan for children in foster care. To support providers in our Best Practice network who care for foster families, we've developed a dedicated webpage with resources and other important information.
